The United Arab Emirates has provided a shipment of medicines to Radfan General Hospital in Lahj as part of its emergency response campaign under the supervision of the Red Crescent. The shipment aims to support the health sector in the face of cholera in Radfan Directorate.

The Director of the Public Health Office in Radfan, Dr. Osan Fadl Ali, thanked the generous and humanitarian gesture of the UAE Red Crescent.

For his part, the coordinator of Lahj province, Abdul Ilah Radfani, that the shipment of drugs and intravenous fluids comes a quick response from the UAE to appeals launched by citizens in the Yemeni province following the spread of cholera epidemic in the Directorate.

The UAE has been carrying shipments of medicines to the health office in the province of Lahj in the past months, and carried out campaigns to clean and spray workshops in the directorates of Al-Huta and Tibn.
