Like last year, the French Adrian Mannarino lost Sunday in the final of the ATP tournament in Moscow, beaten curtly by the Russian Andrey Rublev (6-4, 6-0).

In search of the second title of his career after opening his record on the turf of s'Hertogenbosch in June, the French (44th world) did not do the weight against the shots of the young Muscovite (31st), carried by his audience .

Adrian Mannarino, who had not yet yielded a single set of the week, loses in Moscow the eighth final of his career. He had already been beaten last year in the final in the same city by another local, Karen Khachanov (6-2, 6-2).

Rublev, who turned 22 on Sunday, won the second title of his career after Umag in 2017 and made the Moscow public forget the absence of Daniil Medvedev (4th), tired, and Karen Khachanov (8th), eliminated during quarterfinals.
