It is noted that the exercises will be held from October 21 to 29. They will be held in two stages.
At the first, servicemen of the rapid deployment of the Central Asian region will carry out a counter-terrorist operation to destroy and block combat groups and detachments of illegal armed groups. As it is specified, the military of Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will take part in the stage.
At the second stage, it is planned to carry out a peacekeeping operation in the Central Asian region of collective security. Two more military contingents will take part - from Armenia and Belarus.
On September 19, the Zvezda TV channel reported that the joint Russian-Belarusian shield of the Union ended on the Mulino training ground in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
