The mystery persists around the crash of the Antonov 72 which was chartered by the Congolese presidency. No manifest, no flight plan, let alone a black box. One week after the crash, the exact number of passengers is still unknown. But the investigation is just beginning.

Until then, Congolese authorities maintain their thesis: the accident is due to bad weather conditions.

Dispatched to the crash site, Defense Minister Ngoy Mukena says that only four bodies were found including three unearthed. The bodies were difficult to identify and were sent Thursday to Kinshasa, according to the presidency.

It is even more difficult for the authorities to shed light on this incident that the black box of the device has still not been found. The plane crashed on a marshy site in the bush, explains the minister.

The nose of the Antonov is sunk into the ground, invisible, this is what we learn from the side of the Monusco which has made its logistics available to the authorities.

" The black box is also buried in the basement, " said the Minister of Defense.

Officially, the remains of the armored vehicle of the Head of State have not yet been found.

On site, a perimeter of a hundred meters was created. The Minister of Defense assures RFI that he has set up a " mixed brigade " to monitor the site because thorough investigations have just begun.
