The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, represented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, organized an Umrah trip for new Muslims to introduce them to the tolerance of Islam.
The Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, Hind Mohammed Lootah, said in a statement issued by the Department, that the Center is keen to give new Muslims the necessary religious, psychological and social support, by providing such important trips, which gives new Muslims a unique faith experience, Enable them to identify the tolerance and humanity of the Islamic religion together.
Saeed bin Tuwaih, Director of the Hajj and Umrah Affairs Office, said that he has prepared an integrated program of visits, which includes lectures and lessons to introduce new Muslims to the importance of Umrah and how to perform the rituals, and various tours and trips to explain the historical and religious importance of these holy lands: (Mecca, Medina) And distributed a booklet, containing all the information that serve the participants in the Umrah trip in different languages, stressing that the performance of Umrah is a key supporter in promoting the spirit of Islamic brotherhood of new Muslims. The department said that the trip came within the program of Umrah trip, which is intended for couples of new Muslims, and the number of 28 different nationalities, pointing out that the trip was organized for the fourth time in a row, explaining the presence of six administrators in order to familiarize the participating families how to perform Umrah properly. The Spiritual Journey to the Sacred House of Allah also received a delegation of new Muslims and presented a series of educational brochures in different languages, along with symbolic gifts, to welcome them to the Holy Land for the first time, leaving a positive impact on the families.
The trip to Madinah included a visit to the Prophet's Mosque, the Mosque of Quba, Jabal Uhud, and to clarify the things that are prescribed to do, and what was done by the Holy Prophet peace be upon him and his companions in these sites, where a key lesson was later presented on how to perform Umrah, in preparation for Makkah.
