The President of the National Gathering was the guest of Europe 1, Thursday morning. She mentioned the case of a veiled mother taken by an elected RN at the Regional Council of Burgundy-Franche-Comté, while accompanying a school trip. She particularly condemned the method used by Julien Odoul: "I found this interpellation rough and certainly clumsy, even if on the bottom he asked the right questions.Children must be kept away from the quarrels of men, and this is also true when they are out of school ".

Concerning the complaint filed by Fatima E., the veiled mother, she considered that it was about a "militant", putting forward an argument. "Everything says that she is an activist because not a single journalist has managed to contact her, the only interview she gives is to a structure (CCIF Ndlr) which we know is very close to the Muslim Brotherhood, and I am being sued by this structure for having said exactly the same thing as today, an organization that defends a radical vision of Islam and the way in which they instrumentalise this woman is quite revealing of their methods, moreover ".
