The school leader is one of six Muslim leaders arrested in the spring by the Security Police who believe that the men contribute to radicalization and are a threat to the security of the kingdom. Today's decision is the first final decision on the six men.

Interior Minister Mikael Damberg's press secretary tells SVT News that the government will not comment on the decision today.

The decision is currently under review and has not yet been disclosed to SVT Nyheter, but the responsible officer at the Ministry of Justice confirms to SVT that all appeals were rejected and that the man should be expelled, in accordance with the original decision of the Swedish Migration Board.

The school leader was judged by the Migration Board not to be expelled to his former homeland. The Security Police had requested the government to reconsider that decision, but that appeal was also rejected with today's decision.

Secret what the man did

It is the Act on Special Aliens Control that gives the Migration Board - or ultimately the government - the opportunity to deport people. The requirement is that the person either constitutes a threat to the security of the realm, or that he or she will commit or participate in terrorist offenses.

But what the man has done is the government secretly stamped and when SVT News requested documents from both the Government Offices and from the Swedish Migration Board and the Migration Court, long sections are covered as secret. And the Security Police, who made the original application to the Migration Board for the expulsion of the school leader, put the lid on.

- We do not go in and comment on individual cases, for privacy and security reasons, says Gabriel Wernstedt, spokesperson for the Security Police.

"Serious lack of legal security"

The man's lawyer Anwar Osman has previously stated to SVT News that he is very critical of the decision to expel his client, but he has also been covered with a gag and may not discuss the case further. However, a document submitted by the law firm to the government shows some of the harsh criticism.

“It is a consistently very serious legal security deficiency that what is being asserted is so generally formulated that NN cannot respond to these claims, which is also reinforced by the fact that the content of the claims is not concretized or substantiated with evidence.
