Tunisia is now waiting for the official confirmation of the election of Kais Saeed in the presidential election. The polls give him the winner with more than 70% of the votes cast in front of his opponent Nabil Karoui. A victory that is part of a massive rejection of the current political class.

The anti-system momentum of the first round continued this Sunday with the rejection of what still represented in the eyes of voters the elite in place the big families, the privileged class. To vote for Kaïs Saïed , massive all the same, was added the anti-Karoui vote that has grown.

The rest of 2011

The voters are trying a new face, dare a new turn in this young democratic process. The unbearable had become unbearable. All in all, the source, magnitude and impact of this uprising at the polls are comparable to what happened in January 2011 . The power certainly changed hands at the fall of the dictatorship, but it did not return to the people. And the youth especially, at the origin of the flight of Ben Ali, was never integrated in the development of the country.

The people's weapon

This Act II of the Revolution , by the ballot box, finally calls for an economic revolution that never took place. Poverty and financial difficulties, many Tunisians are ready to accept them for a while if they know that the effort is part of a better tomorrow. This was not the case so far. Faced with these situations experienced as injustices, the right incarnated by the lawyer Kaïs Saïed has become the new weapon of the people which offers him an incontestable legitimacy.

He has excellent knowledge for human rights, justice. This is what the Tunisian people want.

In Sidi Bouzid, a rural region in economic difficulty, Kaïs Saïed has emerged as the only reliable candidate
