The head of the Pentagon reported on being "trapped" by the US military in the SAR

According to him, the United States found that "SDS (Syrian Democratic Forces. - RT) are trying to make a deal with the Syrians and Russians."

He added that Washington is currently “facing” US troops “trapped” in Syria between the Syrian army moving north and the Turkish army moving south.

Earlier, the head of the Pentagon said that the United States is preparing to evacuate 1,000 troops from northern Syria “as quickly and safely as possible” due to Turkey’s operation against the Kurds.

According to him, the instruction to begin the withdrawal of American troops from the north of the SAR was given by US President Donald Trump.
