Nyamko Sabuni (L): "The Left Party's Policy does not respect asylum law"

During the party leadership debate, one of the topics was migration. Nyamko Sabuni (L) and Jonas Sjöstedt (V) started with a debate duel.

- I am delighted that Jonas says that we will represent the right of asylum. The Left Party's policy on migration is anything but respecting the right of asylum. You want people to stay in Sweden even if they do not have asylum rights, says Nyamko Sabuni.

Jonas Sjöstedt answers:

- I think I am better than you at describing the politics of the Left Party.
