Independent candidate Qais Said wins Tunisian presidential election


Independent politician, professor of constitutional law, Qais Saeed, wins the presidential election in Tunisia.

This was reported by the website of the Mosaiqe FM radio station with reference to exit polls.

Said is reportedly gaining 72.53% of the vote.

His rival in the second round, media mogul and leader of the Kalb Tunis party, Nabil al-Karui, is gaining 27.47% of the vote.
