Warsaw (dpa) - The national conservatives remain the strongest political force in Poland. The ruling party Law and Justice won in the parliamentary election, according to initial forecasts, a clear victory. This could continue the dispute between Warsaw and Brussels over the controversial judicial reforms. The German-Polish relationship is likely to remain strained, as the PiS demands reparations from Germany. According to forecasts, 43.6 percent of voters voted for the PiS. The strongest opposition alliance, the liberal-conservative coalition of the people, came to 27.4 percent.
