"The President of Cyprus said that he is ready for trilateral negotiations with UN Secretary General Anthony Guterres and the leader of the Turkish Cypriots Mustafa Akinci on the issue of Cyprus settlement," the Cyprus News Agency said in a statement.
Anastasiadis also said that he had no objection to the place and date of the negotiations.
In July 2017, negotiations on the unification of Cyprus, divided into Greek and Turkish parts, ended without signing an agreement.
