by Tiziana Di Giovannandrea October 13, 2019Because of the arrival from France of more humid and unstable air masses, a sharp weather change is expected for the next few hours. Temperatures are expected to fall slightly in the North but with maximum values above the average everywhere.

A busy week is therefore expected on Italy due to the arrival of a first perturbed front of Atlantic origin that will determine the transit of rainfall, rain showers and thunderstorms of strong intensity, especially in the central-northern regions of Italy, in particular between Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday the weather will be rather cloudy between Piedmont, Liguria, Tuscany and Central-Western Lombardy; sunny elsewhere but with fog banks and low clouds between Triveneto, Emilia-Romagna, valleys of the Center and the middle Adriatic coast (coasts included), but gradually dissolving in the morning; between afternoon and evening the first weak rains are expected between Liguria, lower Piedmont, upper Tuscany and West Lombardy, with thunderstorms in the night particularly between the Savona area and the territory of Genoa where the phenomena will also be very intense.

On Tuesday , bad weather is forecast in the Northwest, with rains and showers on Valle d'Aosta, Piedmont, Liguria (where there will be rather intense storms, especially on coastal areas), upper Tuscany and central-western Lombardy, extending by Triveneto, Emilia by evening -Romagna, on the rest of Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, central-northern Sardinia, upper Marche and northern Campania; rather intense temporal expectations on the coasts of the central Tyrrhenian regions.

Irregular cloudiness and brightening over the remaining regions, but still in a stable context and without precipitation.
