The S politician who recently left her job and her many years of heavy political assignments in Falkenberg Municipality claim that she left voluntarily.

But according to information to SVT News Halland, there were aggravating circumstances that made it impossible for the woman to retain her employment and political assignments.

According to the management of the administration where the woman was employed, a crisis of confidence arose.

Other did the job

It is a task for the municipality that has been assigned to another person for whom the woman has since claimed that she has done and subsequently received compensation. Jobs she didn't really work with.

The whole thing was discovered when a new computer system was introduced that showed that the woman was in two places at the same time. At political meetings, at the same time, she would perform the commissioned work elsewhere. This should have happened on a handful of occasions.

"When we confronted her, we were given no reasonable or acceptable explanations for this," says Johan Klingborg, Head of Administration at Falkenberg Municipality to SVT News Halland.

Do not want to comment

The former politician tells SVT News Halland that she does not want to comment on the municipality's information.

- I've taken a time out from politics. I'll see you in the next election if I come back. I have also chosen to quit my job for personal reasons. I don't comment on anything anymore, the woman tells SVT.

A municipal employee report

Another municipal employee, who is suspected of being involved in the events, has been reported to the police and dismissed.

- That person has made it possible for the compensation to be paid to the wrong person, in this case the politician, and thus violated our rules, says Johan Klingborg.

Why is the politician not reported to the police?

- We have, together with the human resources department, made the assessment that there is no suspected crime behind the action. The municipality has not been cheated on money. The job we ordered is done but by another person, says Johan Klingborg.

However, the woman must have violated the municipality's routines and policies.
