It is the Swedish Migration Board that has decided to place a total of 44 people in Blekinge, of which the county administrative board has since proposed the distribution on Karlskrona and Sölvesborg, which P4 Blekinge told about on Thursday.

Now Sölvesborg municipality is investigating whether the law on municipal autonomy can go before the law on settlement. The joint board will bring up the legislative question to the council next year, according to BLT.

The municipal council in Sölvesborg, Louise Erixon (SD) has stated earlier in Aktuell's debate that the municipality wants to challenge the Housing Act and say no to "compulsory instructions".

- If we come to a decision on the approach to the Housing Act in a different direction than the current one, then that particular decision can be appealed. Then we get a judicial review on which team weighs most, Louise Erixon tells the magazine.

If a municipality can refuse to follow a law and say no to investments, is a question that Doris Nicht, head of the county administrative board integration questions, cannot answer.

- I honestly do not know, but if that situation arises, it will probably be a matter of judicial review, Doris Nicht tells the newspaper.

Still, Louise Erixon can't answer if they will say no to her placement of new arrivals. The County Administrative Board in Blekinge has never been faced with a situation where a municipality challenges the Housing Act.
