After the summer's big theft wave of saddles, it now looks like the thefts have gained new momentum. Yesterday, the police received three reports of saddle thefts that should have occurred south of Mantorp. Now on Thursday, additional stables will be hit by thefts.
- What we know at the moment is that the saddle thefts have started again. But we do not see any clear connection at present, says Joakim Wallberg at the police.
According to reports from the police, these are thefts of a total of fifteen saddles, from two different stables in Gammalkil.
The total value of the saddles is unknown but in one case it is about saddles with a value of between 10,000 and 30,000 pieces.
During the day, the police carry out crime scene investigations at both stables.
