Vellinge municipality in Skåne was the first to introduce a ban on begging in December last year and thereafter a number of municipalities in the country have followed the same path. Most recently Täby municipality, which decided to introduce a begging ban in several places in the municipality, last night.
Vellinge, Staffanstorp, Katrineholm, Sölvesborg, Kungsbacka, Bromölla, Trelleborg and Kävlinge have also proposed similar proposals.
