“We will try to draw up a strategic document that will determine the trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural relations between our countries,” TASS quoted Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov.

Borisov said that cooperation will be designed for a long period, at least until 2030.

The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that his last visit to Venezuela was of a technical nature.

“We discussed specific issues to increase trade, to restore the Venezuelan economy,” he added.

Earlier, Yuri Borisov met with the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, in Caracas.
