Seven people were killed, nine more were injured in the crash of a B-17 bomber during World War II. The tragedy occurred when the aircraft landed at the Bradley International Airport in the US state of Connecticut. The US Federal Aviation Administration has launched an investigation. The plane, nicknamed "The Flying Fortress", was a member of the Wings of Freedom traveling exhibition, in which visitors can not only look at the exhibits, but also fly on them.
