At 19.23, an SOS Alarm was received regarding a traffic accident that should have occurred at a junction between highway 57 and county road 857 towards Hagtorp, just over a kilometer east of Sparreholm.
- It turned out to be a man of 55 years who is now suspected of drunk driving. He has complained a little about neck and back pain, but does not appear to be very serious, says police spokesman Thomas Agnevik.
According to police, there were visible signs that the driver was intoxicated.
- He doesn't have a driver's license either, so he can't drive a car. So he is also suspected of illegal driving.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
