132 of the Swedish Employment Service's visitor offices around the country will be closed down, ten of them in Värmland.

First in turn when the Employment Service ends in Värmland are Grums and Storfors, whose offices close already on Tuesday, October 1st.

- The reduction in the number of offices is necessary. The Employment Service has savings requirements, which means a significant reduction in personnel. With reduced staffing, the office network must be adapted to ensure that the offices that remain will have the conditions to offer an efficient service, booked physical personal meetings for those in need of extra support and a good working environment, says business area director Eva-Lisa Höglund in a press release at The Work Administration's website.
