“An additional forensic medical examination (SME), conducted by order of the investigative team of the Investigative Committee of Russia, confirmed that the violent actions of Mikhail Khachaturian caused serious harm to the health of his daughters Krestina, Angelina and Maria,” the statement said.
Defenders of the sisters note that investigators on September 30 acquainted them with the results of the examination, which was conducted by the Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination of the Moscow Department of Health.
Earlier, defender of one of the sisters Khachaturian Sergey Parshin said that the lawyers of the accused are hoping for the termination of the criminal case.
On July 27, 2018, the body of Mikhail Khachaturian with multiple stab wounds was found in a house on Altufevskoye Shosse. The men are accused of killing his daughter.
