Sevilla FC failed to join Atlético de Madrid in second place in Liga, suffering Thursday a "remake" to Eibar (3-2) for the sixth day of the Spanish Championship.

Four days after their home defeat (0-1) against Real Madrid, leader with 14 points, the Andalusian return empty handed the Basque Country while they led 2-0 at halftime, and remain stuck at the seventh place (10 pts).

Argentina's Lucas Ocampos (11th) opened the scoring, leaning against the goalkeeper alone after a loss from the Basques to the midfield. The former Marseillais then became decisive passer, with a center for Oliver Torres who adjusted Dmitrovic at close range (32nd).

But the Sevillians took the water in the second half. The Frenchman Jules Koundé first gave a penalty to Eibar, transformed by Fabian Orellana (66th), then a huge disagreement between goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik and Diego Carlos allowed Pedro Leon to equalize (77th).

With a superb free-kick (82), José Angel Cote snatched the first victory of the Basques season, coming out of the relegation zone.
