Another € 110 million was allocated as humanitarian aid, Kiev also received a financial loan of € 500 million, another € 25 million was provided for measures to stabilize the situation in the country, and about € 200 million were transferred to Kiev through EU channels.

According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Germany ranks third among Ukraine’s donors after the EU and the United States in terms of the amount of aid provided.

The representative of the EU diplomatic service Maya Kosyanchich called the volume of assistance to Ukraine from the EU unprecedented. According to her, since 2014, the European Union and European financial institutions “have mobilized more than € 15 billion in the form of grants and loans to support the reform process” in Ukraine.

Earlier, US leader Donald Trump said that the United States will delay the allocation of financial assistance to Ukraine until "Europe and other countries begin to make their contribution."
