The Baltic Carrier is registered in Gibraltar and was en route from Svetly in Russia to Lidköping.
According to Emelie Boyd, everyone on board the ship should feel good. The Coast Guard and the Maritime and Air Rescue Center are on their way out with several boats to rescue the ship.
However, the ship must be still waiting for the Swedish Transport Agency to send an inspector on board.
