Hungarian Daniel Zsori was crowned on Monday with the Puskas Award for the World's Best Goal of the Year in the FIFA referendum, for his goal for Debrecen against Ferencvaros in the Hungarian league.

Zesouri received the award today at the annual FIFA ceremony in Milan.

The preliminary list, which included the top ten goals, was announced on August 19, according to the selection of a committee of football experts. The fans' vote on these 10 goals was closed on September 1, after which the legends of the game began to vote for the winner. Among the three goals that reached the final list.

Zsori outperformed Lionel Messi and Juan Fernando Quintero.

Messi scored Barcelona's goal against Real Betis during the Primera Liga match.

Colombian Juan Fernando Quintero scored the goal to give River Plate a 1-0 win over Racing in the Argentine league.
