Since the start of the semester in the fall of 2019, students at the university write their digital exams on the school's fixed computers. The reason is that they want to prevent cheating to a greater extent.

Another reason is that technical problems have often arisen with the students' own computers, which were previously allowed to be used at examination times, which became a disruptive element for some students.

- The work against cheating is ongoing, there are students who can cheat in smart ways with labels, for example, we have not been able to detect any digital cheating yet. But we want to be able to guarantee a hundred percent security and we can do that with the security software we have now, says system administrator Morgan Holm at Jönköping University.

"Must have sustainable quality"

Students have no opportunity to access other websites and programs other than those included in the exam. And to prevent students from reading on each other's screens, there is a filter that makes it impossible to look at someone else's screen.

What do you say to those students who may not feel you trust them?

- It is a higher education, we are obliged to have a security against cheating. Our staff couldn't handle all students' different computers, says Morgan Holm.
