“Such fierce resistance to law enforcement officers is caused by the fact that for such violations, according to our laws, the confiscation of the vessel is threatened. As you know, in North Korea it is the property of the state. Earlier, investigators interrogated all military personnel who participated in the verification and detention of fishing North Korean schooners on the day of the incident.

On September 17, four servicemen were injured in an attack by North Korean poachers on Russian border guards. They are currently being hospitalized in Vladivostok, their condition is assessed as stable.
