“Until the end of the week, a series of battalion tactical exercises in the Southern Military District will be held at training ranges in the Rostov and Volgograd regions involving almost 4 thousand military personnel and 500 pieces of equipment,” the press service said.

The maneuvers will involve T-90 tanks, Tiger armored vehicles, Msta-S and Akatsiya self-propelled artillery, as well as Mi-35 and Mi-8 AMTSh helicopters and Su-34 aircraft.

Earlier, PolitExpert reported that the military of Russia and Mongolia held a training as part of the Selenga-2019 maneuvers.
