China intends to increase trade with Russia to $ 200 billion

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang announced China’s intention to increase trade with Russia to $ 200 billion and called for cooperation in innovative areas.



“We need to bring our turnover to $ 200 billion, but to achieve this goal we need new steps,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The representative of China recalled that at the moment, 70% of countries’s trade is energy.

Keqiang also said that China is open to strategic partnership with Russia.

Earlier, Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin said that Russia could replace China with goods in a dispute with the United States.

According to him, trade between Russia and China is $ 108 billion.
