Al-Ghafli stressed that the active participation of youth in the elections of the Federal National Council 2019, will consolidate the values ​​of participation and consultative approach among the youth segment, and at the same time contribute to the delivery of members who are able to represent youth, convey their voice, and contribute to the realization of their aspirations and hopes, and work to provide all the possibilities that contribute In qualifying young people to be future leaders, whose tenders continue to march achievements and excellence that the UAE seeks to achieve in all fields, indicating that the number of volunteers reached 2000 volunteers.

For his part, the Chairman of the Committee of the Emirate of Sharjah for the elections of the National Council, Counselor Issa Saif Handal, stressed the importance of political participation to achieve the aspirations of citizens, and meet their requirements by communicating their voice through the Federal National Council, pointing out that the number of candidates from Sharjah reached 114 candidates, including 29 female Of the total number of candidates in the emirate, 75 are male, including 26 young candidates, making up 23% of the total number of candidates, indicating that five candidates withdrew from the elections.
