Two people of Asian nationality were injured as a result of jumping from their apartment in the fourth floor in Al Nuaimiya area in Ajman, due to panic from a fire in the kitchen of the apartment.
Lt. Col. Raed Obaid Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Centers Department at the Civil Defense in Ajman, said that the Civil Defense Platform received a report yesterday that a fire had occurred in an apartment in Al Nuaimiya.
Al-Zaabi pointed out that the Civil Defense and National Ambulance teams immediately moved to the scene of the accident, where the injured were evacuated and taken to the hospital for treatment. The site was handed over to the competent authorities to complete the procedures
Al-Zaabi appealed to members of the community to follow the requirements of prevention and safety and the instructions of the civil defense, and to quickly report any incident and exit from emergency exits to maintain safety.
