“Using the tools provided by the presidential decree, the Ministry of Finance imposed sanctions on 15 individuals and legal entities associated with terrorist groups,” said US Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin at a briefing.
According to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, US President Donald Trump signed a decree, modifying the sanctions regime in such a way as to maximize the possibility of their use against terrorists.
Earlier, the US called on Russia to help with standards for identifying terrorists.
