November 15, 2018 "He is angry with everyone" and furious with the First Lady Melania Trump who publicly asked the head of Mira Ricardel, the deputy of the national security advisor John Bolton, without his knowledge. This is how Donald Trump is described by some of his collaborators. According to reports from the CNN citing some sources, Trump would be '' isolated '' in the White House and angry at the Republicans' defeat in the mid-term elections.

After the public criticism of the First Lady, Ricardel was ousted from the White House. After an initial hesitancy, President Donald Trump succumbed to the pressures of his wife Melania and gave the sack to Mira Ricardel, right-hand man of the White House National Security Advisor, John Bolton.

"Mira Ricardel will continue to support the president as he leaves the White House to move to a new position within the administration. The president is grateful to Mrs. Ricardel for her constant service to the American people and for tirelessly pursuing priorities of his national security, "Trump's spokeswoman Sarah Sanders announced in a statement.

With a harsh and unusual public move, Melania claimed the Ricardel head calling it unworthy: "It no longer deserves the honor of serving in this White House". Already badly supported by many colleagues, including Cabinet Chief John Kelly and Pentagon Chief Jim Mattis, Bolton's faithful deputy, who has been in office for 7 months, has angered Melania over a clash over the First Lady's recent trip to Africa and the use of National Security Council resources. Not only that, the staff accuses Ricardel, who eventually did not participate in the mission, of having spread false information about that trip to damage the image of the White House tenant. Furthermore, according to CNN, it was Ricardel - along with its boss Bolton - who repeatedly leaked rumors about Mattis' imminent departure from the scene, with the aim of inducing him to resign.
