10 September 201911.09 Stefano Delle Chiaie, accused of competition in the Bologna massacre, exponent of the right and founder of Avanguardia Nazionale, died at night at the Vannini hospital in Rome. He was 83 years old. Born in Caserta in 1936, he had been a fugitive for years to escape Italian justice, until he was captured in Caracas, Venezuela, on March 27, 1997. Both for the Bologna (1980) and Piazza Fontana massacre ( 1969) was acquitted for lack of evidence.
