A few days ago, Samuel Eto'o retired from football after the end of his contract with Qatar, leaving only four players in the green rectangle who participated in the 1998 World Cup in France.
"The end, to a new challenge," wrote the 38-year-old Cameroonian lion on his Instagram account.
The four players who are over 40 or approaching them are:

South Korean Lee Dong-guk (40 years): Junbak Hyundai Motors
- Saudi Hussein Hussein Abdul Ghani (42 years): Ahli
Japan's Shinji Ono (39): Ryukyu
