Durr Farm and Health Authorities are urging holders of the brand's organic dairy products not to consume and return them.

Seven people were infected with a single strain of Listeria, identified in organic dairy products manufactured by Durr Farm in the Bas-Rhin who reminder and withdrawal of all its products, said Saturday the health authorities.

The DLC is the "use-by date" and the MSD the "date of minimum durability", which replaced the "best-before date" (EOI) since 2014, according to the website of the National Health Security Agency of food, environment and work. "The entire production of this establishment is stopped until further notice," the statement said.

Do not consume and report affected products

These products are marketed directly at Durr Farm, in markets and stores throughout France. In addition to the seven confirmed cases, an eighth person may also have been infected with this same strain of Listeria bacteria.

People who hold the milk products concerned should not consume them and are asked to bring them back.

Listeriosis is a potentially serious disease with an incubation period of up to eight weeks, health authorities say.
