According to the Ministry of Justice, Korshunov and Italian citizen Maurizio Paolo Bianchi were indicted on August 21 indictments.
"They are accused in the United States of conspiracy and attempted theft of trade secrets of the American aircraft manufacturer ... this is punishable by up to 10 years in prison," the press service of the Justice Ministry quotes RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Korshunov was arrested on August 30 at the Naples airport on the basis of an international warrant issued by the United States.
The Russian Foreign Ministry called the incident an example of unfair competition.
