“The candidate Sergey Tsukasov, previously registered in the 14th constituency, today received a refusal by the Supreme Court to satisfy his complaint about the decision of the Moscow City Court to withdraw him from the election. In total, 225 candidates to the Moscow City Duma will be presented in ballots on a single voting day, ”TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, the chairman of the district election commission (OIC), Irina Vyalykh, announced the OIC’s decision to register a candidate from the Yabloko party, Sergei Mitrokhin, for elections to the Moscow City Duma.
In July, the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM) conducted a survey of Muscovites about the upcoming elections to the Moscow City Duma.
