“Any statements should be supported by some actions. If Ukraine would now cease completely hostilities on its part, this could be seen as a serious step towards de-escalation of the conflict, ”Bezpalko emphasized.

According to the expert, so far in the last hundred days of Zelensky’s presidency, we see only a “buildup of hostilities."

Bezpalko noted that he could consider such statements as positive, but empty, "not filled with real content."

Earlier, representatives of Ukraine during the meeting of the contact group in Minsk raised the issue of the return of the Russian side to the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire in Donbass.
