Personnel in the functional support administration, both unit managers and other employees in the business, have raised alarms about serious work environment problems. Ruling techniques, fear of reprisals and the building up of a culture of silence are some of the problems that have been raised.

Tomas Gotthardsson is worried about how members of FUB, people with intellectual disabilities, will be affected by the culture of silence described.

- They are completely dependent on the people who are closest to them to dare to talk about everything that happens to very many of them can not do it themselves. We become very worried when the staff starts talking about a culture of silence, he says.

FUB Östra Blekinge will have a meeting with the municipality when they want to see that the politicians act and that the criticism directed at the leadership is investigated.

Åke Håkansson (S) first Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors says that they await the result of the HR department's work.

- HR should interview everyone to get to the bottom of what is the problem. This work has been started at once.

Do you think you need to do something more?

- Right now we have to let them get some rest. Then we have to act on what comes up.
