Fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, known for his black-and-white photos of stars and models, died Tuesday at the age of 74, his family told AFP on Wednesday.
German-born Lindbergh, born in 1944 in Leszno, Poland, has collaborated with numerous fashion magazines and has participated in a large number of commercials, making his pictures iconic images of the world of fashion.
