“On September 3, a minor born in 2013 drowned in a swimming pool at the Maya World Beach Hotel in the Okurcalar (Alanya) resort area,” RIA Novosti quoted Kasimov as saying.
She said that the Russian woman was taken to the nearest hospital, "however, despite the efforts of medical personnel, she could not be saved."
Kasimova also said that the Consulate General in Antalya is in contact with the local gendarmerie administration and the hotel administration and is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
