On Thursday, Måns Högström, who has vision impairment, would order a travel service to get from Mikaelsgården to his home in Salabacke. When he would normally book a car through his app, he was told that there were no vacancies.

- When I called the ordering center they said that the reason was that there were about 20 to 30 cars missing and that they could not do anything.

In the facebook group Uppsala Färdtjänstforum many express their complaints.

“Sitting and tired of travel service. Today while I was waiting for the taxi, I received a text message that there was no taxi to pick me up, ”writes one person.

"I couldn't come home today because they had problems with the central station and send out taxis so I live with a friend tonight," another writes.

"Something has to be done"

Måns Högström is the administrator of the group.

- In recent days, we have gained more and more members, which indicates that many are affected and something must be done, says Måns Högström.

You have contacted the travel service to point out the problems, what did they say?

- I have talked to a quality manager at the transport service who said that they cannot guarantee that all bookings made will go through, and that they cannot offer compensation for private taxis.

How do you feel now?

- I become angry. The transport service must be equated with public transport. Should there be problems with the buses in the same way, it would certainly be treated differently, says Måns Högström.
