“The reason for the emergency landing was the collision of an aircraft with a flock of birds during take-off at the airport of St. Petersburg,” the prosecutor’s office said.
On board the aircraft were 193 passengers and four crew members.
There are no casualties as a result of what happened. After the incident, the prosecutor's office organized a check.
According to RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of Ural Airlines, the plane after landing was inspected by specialists. No damage was found. It is specified that the aircraft will continue flying after refueling.
