Bolton also said that the United States supports the independence of Moldova. According to him, the United States "has no special aspirations in the region."
Earlier, Bolton praised his trip to Ukraine.
On August 29, he is scheduled to visit Belarus, during which he plans to discuss the sanctions imposed on Belarus.
