It was November 2, 2018 that a man of his 30s was murdered on Levertinsgatan in the district of Gränby in Uppsala. It must have been with several stabs, punches and kicks that four men killed him.

Three of the men charged with the murder are brothers. All deny crimes, and two of those heard today at Uppsala District Court argue that much of what has been presented as evidence is about chance. For example, one of the brothers had DNA traces from the victim under the nail.

The trial began for space reasons at the Stockholm District Court on Wednesday, but negotiations continued in Uppsala today and in total they are expected to last for 14 days.

The prosecutors have chosen not to comment on the case during the negotiations.
