The newly discovered Viking tomb is located near Halden in southeastern Norway. In addition to the Viking ship itself, the georadar has shown remains of five houses.

For the first time in 100 years, an archaeological excavation of a Viking ship is being carried out. The buried ship was found with georadar as late as last year.
