"We are in the boy's home and have patrols in Askersund who are looking," says Christina Hallin, press officer at the police.
According to the report, the missing boy should have come home around half past five on Tuesday afternoon. He lives outside Askersund and therefore usually takes a school bus home from school. Something the police are trying to find out if he did this afternoon as well.
The police are calling on people who think they know something to call 114 14.
